Comments about Avon AM24 Gripster Motorcycle Tire:

Good general purpose tire for dual sport riding. I have been using them on a KLR and a Transalp for years. Decent mileage (8 - 10K) on the rear, somewhat more on the front. Also nice & quiet on the road.

Comments about Avon AM24 Gripster Motorcycle Tire:

I've used Gripsters on and off road for years. Avon got the tread design correct initially and have been good enough to stick with it.
For the price and the flexibility, it's just hard to beat this tire.

        Service and delivery comments:

quick and competitive, plus the microfiche files for most bikes.

        Smooth Riding Tire

        By bigcoconut

        from Houston, TX

Comments about Avon AM24 Gripster Motorcycle Tire:

The Gripster is a great tire. I only changed the rear tire and left the front tire stock on my KLR650. Most of my driving is street so the tire combo works great.

        Service and delivery comments:

Good delivery and communication of the order status.

            A:

Thanks for your question! The Avon Gripster AM24 Motorcycle Tire that your looking at would be tube type and tubeless compatible.

          • A:

You can use tubes in tubeless tires, but you can't go the other way.

        • Q:

Which is better on DR650 the Avon Gripster AM24 tubless or with a tube?

          • CUSTOMER CARE

            A:

Thanks for your question! With your Suzuki DR650 if you are running the standard rim with spokes you would always need to run a tube, the only time you would not would be if you had mag wheels.
