I just went through a set of these that lasted 6500 miles. I ride in the mountains of TN. Most of the miles were on twisty roads with a few freeway trips. I used almost the entire tread. When I changed them, they only had a 1.5 inch flat spot in the center that wore though the wear bars. This is about the most mileage I got out of a set of tires on my 04 Yamaha FJR1300, but I can always wish for more.

They handled great when new, but started resisting turn-in as they developed a triangular wear pattern, I assume due to aggressive cornering.

I prefer these to the Metzler Z6's they replaced both for handling and tread life.

Great tires and super price with AMA discount. Haven't put too many miles on this set yet, but they're holding up great so far. Good grip in turns and braking too.

This is a good tire for high speeds and fast cornering, looks good and has lasted well for the miles I have put on it.

Purchased a AV55ST for the front of my Connie, haven't had the chance to check it out in wet weather yet (extreme drought here), but it is great on dry pavement. Especially good on cornering.
