This tire is the perfect balance of high-performance materials and water-shedding tread. It is impressive on dry pavement and amazing on wet.

The Tri-Compound Extrusion (TE) and Advanced Variable Belt Density (A-VBD) construction combines a durable center for stability and longevity with softer edges for excellent grip at high lean angles.

The Storm 2 Ultra provides consistent handling and stability for the life of the tire, fast warm-up times, and superior grip. The tread gives optimal water dispersal and resistance to uneven wear to improve braking. Please Note: Tire with V speed rating has reinforced construction.

      I bought the front tire of this pair about a month ago and recently purchased and installed the rear as well. Only thing I can say is WOW....very noticeable difference in handling and overall ride comfort! Holds corners very well with minimal fatigue...Outstanding wet weather handling even in downpours! The water Channels on the rear tire are just over 1/4 in. deep and disperse rain easily! If you do a lot of riding and get caught in foul weather like I do,Then you will be very pleased with these tires.

        A great tire for my Buell Ulysses. I have lost track of exactly how many miles I have put on this tire, but I think it is in excess of 7K.

          Early wear on rear most likely from high speed return trip from Key West to
          Savannah with strong winds for over 700 miles. Front has third of tread
          Remaining. Rear center has several Thousand miles left. Replacing with
          Second generation Storm. Hard to fault for all around tire on sport tourer
          ST1300.
