Sidecar Tire

Comments about Avon Side Car Tire:
This is the second Avon sidecar tire that I have purchased specifically for the hack. It is the third overall. (The other one was tried as a rear tire.) The problem with any tire on a sidecar rig is that they tend to wear out rather quickly. The wheels are not leaning in the turns as on a two-wheeled motorcycle, and are therefore subjected to a lot more 'stress.' I'm still searching for a tire that will stand up to the rigors of sidecar usage. Meanwhile...the Avon tire has the advantage of being virtually the only one out there with the correct size and design for those 'vintage' spoked rims....

its the only tire of this kind that i can get, so its better than running a mc tire! its got the proper profile for a hack...
ecellent service, and that allways get me the hard to find parts.
