All Kits Include: D.O.T. Halogen Hi/Low Glass Lens Headlight. L.E.D. Taillight. D.O.T. Turn Signals (flush mount available). Horn. Ni-Cad Battery (9 ozs) – keeps the lights working when the bike is off. Rectifier/Regulator (keeps the battery charged). Wiring Harness. Switch Panel – High Beam Indicator light, turn signal switch, horn, headlight and kill switch. Parts bag – contains all necessary nuts, bolts, zip-ties, etc. Detailed installation instructions. Our all-new 2005 switch assembly features a modern style push-to-cancel turn signal button and an integrated LED high beam indicator. It now unplugs from the front wiring harness with a quick release connector eliminating the need to unplug any individual components to remove the switch. Electric Start Models: Front turn signals and horn are conveniently pre-mounted on the headlight. Stock with D.O.T. rear turn signals, mount to existing rear fender. Bike specific kits - wire lengths and connectors designed per bike. Race lighting will work on bikes with this dual sport kit.

Comments about Baja Designs EZ Mount Dual Sport Kit:

Bought this kit for my son's 2003 Honda XR250 (kick start). Glad I did! This is a full DC kit. The battery is small in size but powerful enough to keep lights on for a good while when the engine is not running. The daytime running light in the headlight makes it easy to be seen but only useses 5W of power during the day so there is lots of power available for charging the battery. The kit comes with a key switch. The kit also comes with extra crimp on male and female electrical connectors which came in handy when wiring the back light on the Baja analog speedo I ordered also. I tapped into the 12V going to the daytime running light. The instructions were fairly well written and organized but could have used a few more detailed pictures of what things look like when they have been properly installed. All in all this is a great kit. Even though the Baja kit is one of the more costly solutions out there, I am glad I did not buy a cheaper AC kit which would become useless if the engine stalls.

      Thanks for the question. If your XR600R already has a Headlight than you should be ok. If you plane on using a brighter headlight then for sure have the stator re-wound.       Thank you for your question. The light bulb for the Baja Designs kit is an H4 bulb. 12v 55/60 watt bulb. Any bulb that meets this criteria can be used, Baja Designs does not offer a replacement bulb.       Thank you for your question. What model bike do you have? Some bikes have adequate power to supply to this system. Other models do need the stator rewind. I can verify if you can specify a model type.

    I have a 1984 Honda XR250R that I am converting to an enduro-style bike. Does the Baja dual sport kit provide a brake light switch? My state requires mirrors, head light, and brake light. I want all the added features of the kit, but want to make sure the minimum requirements are met.
