Not applicable for an R1200GS, too small
By N2faster

Comments about Ballistic Performance Components 8 Cell EVO2 Lithium Ion Battery:
While this battery is recommended for the BMW R1200GS it does not possess the cranking power required to start the engine. Go with a 12 cell.

Does not fit 2008 CBR600RR - do not buy
By Jay
from Sunnyvale, CA
I ordered this battery to replace the OEM in my 2008 CBR600RR. From the other reviews, I expected to use the packaging to shore up the smaller battery and have it stay in the battery compartment. However, this battery is smaller in every dimension except for height. Once installed, the seat rests on the battery. I tried all conceivable orientations for this battery and it still did not fit.
Nice Idea ... lacks reliability
By Rob
from San Jose, CA
Bought the 8 Cell for my 2003 Triumph Sprint ST as recommended by the vendor. When the weather is nice the bike turns over 1st try. Recently the weather dropped into the low~mid 50s and the bike struggles to turn over - usually not turning over at all.If you're look for something reliable, and live someplace where the temps get a little cold ... skip this battery.
