        This little jewel does a great job of keeping my battery charged and ready to go. It is easy to disconect with the included wiring harness that stays with the bike(no side covers to remove for access). When through riding I just make one connection and it is back to work. Has great diagnostics built into the charger.

        Bought this for my boat and ATV that are stored up at my northern WI cabin. I just plug it in and leave it until the next time I visit, switching between the boat and ATV each time I'm there. Works great -keeps both fully charged and ready to go.

              Thank you for the well thought out cable lengths and connections. The included cable with the clamps makes a jump start easy, if necessary. I now have an easy access for maintaining my battery charge. Just unlock my seat and there is the connection. The price is right too!!!!

It does come with pigtails that can be installed on the battery so that it can be quickly connected & disconnected.                       Thanks for your question. The Battery Tender is normally ok for use with Gel batteries. To be safe BikeBandit.com recommends checking with the battery manufacturer for approved charging devices.

                      Thank you for your question. No, in fact the unit will include a pigtail that can be installed on the battery terminals. The pigtail can be left on the battery. When the bike needs to be charged the pigtail can then be connected to the battery tender. Once the battery is fully charged the pigtail can then be removed and tucked back in its respectable hidding spot near the battery, away till the next time. With the permanent installation of the pigtail you will never have to disconnect the battery again.
