Don't cut corners on oil

A lot of riders try to save money on oil but 2-stroke gear oil is important. The Bel-Ray gear saver oil will keep your transmission and clutch performing through out a race or a long trail ride better than any automotive oil can. I use it in all my race bikes and it's never let me down.
Keep tranny alive

If you have a classic two-stroke, then your manual most likely reccomends regular automotive grade 10W30 for the gearbox. Problem is that today's car oils have all sorts of additives that were never intended to go inside, like friction-reducers. Gear Saver oils are a better option for keeping your gears happy, and it comes in three weights so you can get the appropriate viscosity.
