Very great helmet for the price! Exactly what I have expected for a Bell helmets. Only cons, they are a "wind sweeping" more than my other Bell Star. Bell Bandit, great as common.

If ordering, you might want to go a size up. And work out your neck muscles... its a heavy sucker. The vents feels cheap, and te rear lower ones ggenerate an ungodly howl in the wind when you move over 5mph. the eyebrow vents work moderatley well. The mounth vents seem to just do a good job of keeping your breath in one place, and pushing moving air into your eyes with the deflector. Have fun with that if you live in ana area that has dust, like planet Earth. Oh, and shipping took forever, since it being listed in stock means that the manufacturer has it in stock, and it has to ship from them to BB and then to you.

This helmet is awesome for the price. It is very light and the fit/finish is amazing. Comfort and styling are way better than my last helmet. I highly recommend this product!

I Followed Bell's sizing chart exactly and had my head re-measured. When I got the first one and put it on, I thought my head was going to cave in. [...] I wear a small with most but had to size UP to a Med with Bell. The helmet is GREAT! The only difference between the Star and Vortex is the materials (carbon composite or polycarbonate) and the bottom vent. The vents are easier to use then most other helmets. If you order the right size for yourself and break it in for a few hours, it is PERFECT. It is a little wide on the outside do to the extra thick padding. They didn't skimp. It is the same padding used in the Star. I have too much to say about this helmet. The matte black is great! Bell came back hard in the market with this helmet. You have to own one to appreciate the vents and also the pics do not show the screened over exhaust vents in justice. Just buy one! [...]Would I recommend this helmet ... YES! [...]
