Comments about BikeBandit.com Black Mechanic's Apron:
You can't go wrong with this apron! The pockets are everything you need, along side the adjustable straps to keep it secured to your body and keep it from flopping around in the way! Durable material, and I don't think you could find a better apron for the price!I would have to say a pencil pocket would be a great addition, but that doesn't take away from the rating!
Gotta Get One

Really nice apron, quality materials and workmanshipJust the right length to save my shirts but not interfer with my roller stool or my tire changer. Only improvement would be a pen/tire gauge pocket, it has three large pockets, but my pen gets lost in the bottom.

Basic Apron, Great Price
By bikergeek

For the price, this basic apron is hard to beat. Very sturdy material - even if you brush up against something sharp, the apron will prevent damage to your body. And the straps should stand up to a lot of an-and-off abuse. The 2 large pockets hold a lot, and are plenty deep enough to keep things from falling out while you work. It's long and wide enough to keep your shirt clean, even on the sides, but short enough that it doesn't get in the way when you're crawling on the floor to work on the nether regions of your machine. And how can you go wrong with black? I may never have to wash it!There are some areas for improvement, though. A pencil pocket on the chest would be great for markers, tire pressure gauges, etc., that tend to get lost at the bottom of the large pockets. And I wish the tie straps were long enough to tie in front - tying knots behind my back isn't one of my better-developed skills. But these are minor annoyances, not major demerits for such a useful apron.
