I have several sets of these tie downs and have never had any problems. I use them all of the time and like the soft loops. I mostly tie down dirtbikes and quads, so I haven't tried a heavy roadbike on anything other than a work stand, but I had a dirtbike in the back of a pickup on rough roads with no issue.
