Comments about BikeMaster Chain Press Tool:
When I tried to use this it did not press the pins in far enough to get the clip on and then bent. Straighted it out and tried again with no luck and then it broke in several places. Was using on 530 chain.

The tool could not press my chain enough to get the masterlink to fit. then the bolts snapped in half. the tool is junk

I called to find out the correct press fit tool for the chain that I had. There were four different types, so I felt it best to call for advice. I ordered the tool the customer support person recomended... wrong one, I was able to modify to work. Next time I will go with my gut.Lewis
