Comments about BikeMaster Snap Ring Pliers Set (4 Jaws):
Got these to deal with wheel bearing replacement. Not a frequent user of snap ring pliers, the first and subsequent encounters resulted in frequent slippage of the pins out of the snap rings, during removal and installation. Similar set seems to be available at other outlets for half price (6 pieces vs 8). I have a busted up old single configuration pair that has more prominent pins that does a better job. Given probable country of origin, not a surprise if tolerances are a little 'vague'. On the flipside, maybe I need a crash course in snap ring plier operation. You could be the judge.
