Comments about Bobster Charger Sunglasses:
I bought these glasses over those with padding around the lens based on a deceiving picture. I wanted them for use with my full face Arai helmet so I wanted glasses that don't have that flare outward on the end of the earpieces and the one picture for these make it look like they don't have that but they do. This flare out makes use with full helmets hard so I sacrificed having the padding around the lenses because I thought these were right. I was able to clip the ends so that they fit into my helmet and they do decently well at blocking the wind. But if you plan on using these without a helmet (or perhaps with just a half helmet) they are terrible above about 40 mph and actually make my eyes water from the wind coming up underneath them.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I need a pair of new glasses and these were on sale. Unsure about the degree of tint for the smoked lens, I asked a sales representative if they could describe how it was (its hard to tell from the photos on tints). Being very helpful in my inquiries I took a chance and bought two pairs. The glasses came in its own box with a nice soft cloth carrying bag (always a plus). Only thing I did not like was the lens give you a alien-type looks (large oval lens). They still look good and feel great.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

why pay more?
from Vancouver B.C.
I have payed a lot more for a lot less. Great pair of general purpose sunglasses, nice wrap-around look and comfortable. They are good for riding around town on your bike, but let in a little wind at the arm hinges when you are on the highway (but then that's when you use a visor or goggles).I am going to order a back-up pair for the car.
