Consistent performance between touring and sport riding for heavier motorcycles. Bridgestone's BT-023 GT tires have heavy-duty casings and a revised tread pattern on the front tire. The new tread pattern and rubber compound deliver long mileage, a high level of wet performance, a comfortable ride, and good grip. The rear tire's 3LC (Dual Compound) technology provides good stability and wear life in center and strong grip and bump absorption in shoulder of tire. Silica plus RC polymer (assists silica effect and controls rubber properties) enhances wet performance and wear life.

Comments about Bridgestone Battlax BT023-GT Motorcycle Tire:

A very solid, heavy tire which made fitting difficult, without a tire fitting machine.
Excellent stability and grip already, after only a couple of hundred miles. Too soon to comment on longevity/wear.
I replaced a set of BT020s with these on a Triumph Sprint ST 1050. So far I'm impressed and have given 5 stars on the basis that Bridgestone tires have always worn very well for me in the past.

Comments about Bridgestone Battlax BT023-GT Motorcycle Tire:

Installed this tire on the front to replace my old tire on my Triumph Trophy 1200cc. This is a terrific tire for the price and well worth it! I love the performance and grip in wet conditions. The heavy casing gives me great cornering capabilities in all riding conditions, and I feel more confident with this tire on the bike[...]Bike Bandit Rules!!!

Comments about Bridgestone Battlax BT023-GT Motorcycle Tire:

This is my second set of BT-023s. The first set lasted a little over 10K miles on an FJR1300, although by 8K to 9K miles they already had a flattened profile and suboptimal handling characteristics.
These are very good tires with very good handling and high speed manners along with reasonable longevity. I plan to buy another set when these wear out.

        • Q:

I have read a ton of reviews on the Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires and they say a lot of good things about that tire, but those tires are described as soft / medium and this tire states that it is for heavier bikes. I have a BMW K1200LT and I would like to know which of the two tires will wear and perform better on my bike?
