Comments about Bridgestone Battle Wing BW502 Motorcycle Tire:

Excellent wearing tire. 11k miles on them and probably good for another 1000 miles. Great street tire and does well in the rain. Little slippy feeling on dirt and gravel. Fades side to side.
Replacing with Anakees 2's for something to do with the weather so cold! And to have something that seems a little more aggressive. Been waiting for K60's for the F800...having to wait.

      BMW F800GS & GS1200 OEM tire

Comments about Bridgestone Battle Wing BW502 Motorcycle Tire:

I have this tires on my F800GS as OEM equipment.

Before having my F800GS I have been always a fan of Anakee.

So far so good, very nice handling and braking on asphalt, but definetively not a tire for dirt, no matter how good the dirt road is.

Yes, you can go thru a dirt road with it, but the feeling is that you will fall in any moment to ground.

Guess is almost the same with all "Dual Purpose" tires that claim to be developed for 80% on road and 20% off road, but the truth is 20% offroad is a bit exagerated!

Comments about Bridgestone Battle Wing BW502 Motorcycle Tire:

I have put 85K miles on my DL1000 with Trail Wings and had no problems but just decided to try something a little different. They feel more secure in turns at higher speeds, but the little bit I have run them in the dirt I think the Trail Wings are a better choice for off road. I hope they last as long as the TW's have.

Good tire at a good price. Usually get about 10K on a rear. Balanced out with 7gms. Better tire than oem trailwings.

Thanks for your question. Yes your machine calls for a 150/70/17 tire so this would work just fine.
