I rode a little over 200 miles yesterday on a pair of these tires. I would say that they are a good road tire. They have a good feel on gravel roads. When trying to tackle a significant grade up or down with any sort of loose rocks was a nightmare. Excellent braking power on the highway.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
