      Cheap Insurance to Avoid a Bad Day Off Road

      What a difference from the standard tube. I knew these would be thicker, but wow...These are significantly thicker and heavier than the stock tubes. This, in itself, confirms that I did the right thing going with the heavy-duty tubes for off-road riding and peace of mind.

      From other comments regarding installation, I was a little concerned with how much effort was going to be involved stuffing these fat tubes into the tires. However, with a liberal sprinkling of baby powder, the slid right in.

      Only regret was not buying a valve stem fishing tool to get the stem through the rim. I went old-school and chewed up some knuckles, but it didn't take too long.

      I'm off to find some cactus beds to ride over as a final test................
