Jake Smith, BikeBandit.com's Marketing Supervisor, joined Cristina in the video room to kick off our new Project Kickstart video series and to talk about his upcoming motorcycle project.



So what are some tips that Jake has for riders looking to work on their rides? When changing motorcycle tires, try setting the tire out in the sun (preferably on a warmer day) to warm it up before you try to slap it on your bike. This allows the rubber to get a little more pliable and makes it easier to wrangle onto the rim.

Jake also suggests that, before working on your motorcycle, you always make sure you have your motorcycle manual close at hand as well as to make sure you have the right tools for the job.
