A major upgrade

Comments about Continental Conti Sport Attack Hypersport Motorcycle Tire:

This is the 3rd set of tires to go on my 08 ZZR 600 and I must say the best I have had. The first set was the sportmax the bike came with then I went to the Dunlop D616. These have much more grip than both those tires combined. I'm a daily driver and my route to work takes me over mountains and nothing but hairpin curves so grip is essential. The tire tread is cool looking. (I know that has nothing to do with how good the tire is but bare with me). Its looks to get its design from the way more pricy race tires due to the fact it has deep tread in the center but on the outer sides of the tread its almost completely slick. I haven't had the pleasure (not really a pleasure in my mind) of seeing how it handles in the rain so my review is lacking that aspect. Anyway I hope this review was helpful to you future owners of this tire.

Conti Sport Attack

Comments about Continental Conti Sport Attack Hypersport Motorcycle Tire:

As a set of replacement tires for Dunlop 208 Quals I had on my 06 Busa, the Conti Sport Attacks surpasses them in some areas. I have put about 1K miles on the set and I can feel when riding better road feed back, quicker turn-ins and lean grip. The busa seems to handle now like a lighter bike. On the negative side there is a little more shimmy, and less a feeling of control then with the Dunlops. At high speeds it depends on how good the road surface is. At speeds over a 100mph, that feeling of smooth control was not as strong, but the road feedback was excellent. Still I'm glad I have them on the bike.

Best Sport Tire for Road use

Comments about Continental Conti Sport Attack Hypersport Motorcycle Tire:

Bluntly stated, there are better full-on sport tires. But if you ride on the public roads more than the racetrack, then this tire is hard to beat! What it sacrifices in all-out traction it makes up for in better wear characteristics, wet-weather manners and handling! And the difference in grip between this tire and the competition is minimal. The only flaw I've seen with the tire is that it can get a bit greasy if ridden on a track at stupid-fast speeds by the end of the session on a really hot day.

great tire

Comments about Continental Conti Sport Attack Hypersport Motorcycle Tire:

had a new set that came on a used bike, tires had less than 500 miles when i got em'.... they are great... I'm a daily driver to and from work totalling 60+ miles daily, so i place a lot of wear and tear on a tire... I also hit the twisties and can tell you while these aren't corsa's on the corners, what they miss in grip and roll they make up for in tread life and comfort... They absorb much more shock than the batlleaxe's i've run, making the ride smooth out a bit. They are great on the lean in, my zx9r tips at the drop of a hat, and the tire profile leads to progressive response on a hard turn... they aren't the best i've ever had, but I'd buy another set any day.
