Constructed with a combination of perforated and nonperforated top grain drum dyed leather (1.2-1.4 mm). Safety features include CE-approved shoulder and elbow armor with a triple density back protector. Seams are triple- and double-stitched with high strength, bonded nylon thread. Accordion-style expansion panels at shoulders and elbows increase flexibility and fit. Heavy duty, 600 denier stretch nylon panels in the arms allow ease of movement.Other features include molded shoulder protectors with integrated ventilation intake vents, rotated sleeves for the riding position, and cuffs with a spring-loaded zipper pull to eliminate flapping. EVA foam padded collarbone protection panels. There is a removable, insulated vest liner for added warmth and a mesh lining throughout to enhance air circulation when you need it. The jacket features a full-circumference and 8 inch jacket to pant attachment zipper (with pant sides included) so you can attach the jacket to your favorite pair of motorcycle pants.

Comments about Cortech Latigo Leather Motorcycle Jacket:
Perforated front has highlights sewn on which do not allow air to flow--these designs on the front are backed by padded vinyl. Since I wanted max air flow, I carefully removed these. The jacket is heavy--weighs nine pounds, accourding to the post office. It flows some air but is not as breathable as a mesh jacket. As long as you're moving, this jacket is fine for 90 degree weather. I replaced the back foam pad with a CE certified one.Despite being made in Pakistan (maybe Osama's wife sewed mine!), quality is first rate.Originally got a size L but that was a bit bulky for me: 5/9" 160# 40" chest, 32" waist. The M shoulders fit well but there is still some bulkiness at the lower chest, under the arms. Waist is snug but has adjustment straps. Good, not great fit, but I'm pretty skinny.All in all, a GREAT buy at this price!

I recently purchased the Cortech Latigo Leather Jacket and Pant's combo size large. I am 6' 2" tall, weight 170lbs with a slender build. My normal jean size is 33 waist with 34 leg. My suit jacket size is normally 44US. The large is a good fit with room in the jacket that will allow for back and chest protector that will be purchased soon. I will post an update with the protective gear. The quality and price is excellent… I found attaching the jacket and pant's with the full-circumference zipper worked with no problems. I have not used the suit riding on the street or track but will be on the road hopefully sometime in April and my first track day in June on my 2006 Kawasaki ZX14. I will post updates in the near future with pictures… Very happy with the purchase…Thanks,Kirt
