    Covermax cover

    By FlyingBrick

    from Boise, Idaho

Comments about Covermax Deluxe Motorcycle Cover:

Good cover, I'm on my third one. I use this as my primary cover (no garage) so it sees alot of weather. I find they last about two seasons with full time use and exposure to the sun. The sun fades and breaks down the fabric until one day the fabric tears apart. I have been thinking about maybe extending the life by applying a UV block to the fabric, haven't tried it yet.
Purchase at least a size larger than you think you need. The elastic band around the bottom is much smaller in diameter than the main body of the cover. I'm using an x-large on a BMW K1100RS with hard bags. I need to take extra care getting it over the mirrors. I always allow the bike to cool for at least 15 min. before putting the cover on. My technique is to find the white sewn in label at the back of the cover. I get the cover pulled down and in place with the label centered on the rear tire with the cover pulled forward partly covering the seat. I then go to the front of the bike and pull the cover while holding and stretching the elastic band carefully over the mirrors and then over the front of the bike. I use a different lighter weight cover while touring, I find this one a little bulky for a trip.

Comments about Covermax Deluxe Motorcycle Cover:

When I ordered the 1st time for my Suzuki GS500F, I ordered a MEDIUM as it indicated it would fit. I had to return this cover because it was too small/tight. Reordered in LARGE and it fits perfectly! I am 100% happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone!

Comments about Covermax Deluxe Motorcycle Cover:

My last Covermax lasted almost 3 years of 24/7/365 outdoors: snow, rain, and sun. It held up well but was starting to leak. I probably could have waterproofed it again, but decided to get a new one. The Large size is a perfect fit for my Triumph Bonneville with the saddlebags on. Easy on and off, but never blows off or comes loose. There may be covers as good, but you'll be hard pressed to find out that's better. I'm sold.

Comments about Covermax Deluxe Motorcycle Cover:

This is the second Covermax I've bought. The first one is still on use as primary protection on my goldwing. It is 3 years old and exposed to all elements, its a bit worn now but still effective. We don't have a garage or shelter. This new one was purchased for my partners 84 Kawasaki with an aftermarket windshield. It fits very well and is easy to use. Very water repellent. I think I'm going to have to replace the other pretty soon..not so shiney anymore ;). Overall it is a great value, fit and product for the cost.
