Great Cheap Buy
from Philadelphia, PA
See all my reviews
When I bought my bike, I had never heard of these but there was one already on the bike from the previous user. I initially tried it out and loved it. Even for a shorter ride, it comes in handy when you're riding at a constant speed especially. On a recent ride, I was adjusting it while moving, accidentally knocked it off of the throttle and dropped it on the road and lost it. I decided that I'd buy another one because I liked it so much. It keeps my hand from cramping but is not in the way when I do not want to use it. This is such a simple solution that works really well.
from Bath, PA
It keeps my hand from falling asleep & helps with finger numbness but it didn't grip tight enough. It starts to slip after awhile. I'm going to put a little friction tape under it. Suggested improvement = put some ridges on the thing so it doesn't slip so easily.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Russian cruise control
from SE Alaska
It fits the Ural (Russian boxer with side car) hand grip, and when cranked around, it jams against the front brake lever and acts as a russian cruise control. Easy to twist off by pulling back on the tang or forcibly rolling off the throttle. Hey, it works!
