Put this tire on my 2009 HD Crossbones. A great upgrade to the Dunlop D401 from the factory. I have about 3000 miles on it now and it looks almost new. Tread wear is great even on my heavy bike. The tire handles well on the rough concrete surfaces in San Diego and I am anticipating getting about 8k miles or more out of it. Comparing that to the 5k on the factory tires the D205 is a great upgrade and handles much better on wet roads as well.

      Thanks for your question! Yes, this tire will work with the D402 front tire. This would be the factory setup on most Softail models for 2006.
