This will be the fourth tire I've put on the back of my V-Rod ('06 VRSCA with just north of 25k on the odo). With the exception of the first tire (I had to replace it after it picked up 4 nails in one weekend), I've gotten about 10-11k miles out of these tires every time. I'm a big dude (320lbs) on a big bike (690lbs plus gear) who tours in just about any kind of weather (32F, torrential rain, etc) and commutes just about daily in the spring, summer and fall. I've never been in a situation where I wished I had more grip. Even when they wore out, they still had plenty of grip in the wet. The only thing that kept me from giving this tire a 5-star rating is that I wish it lasted longer on the back of my bike. If I could squeak out 15k miles and get down to only having to replace the tire once every season, I'd have nothing bad to say about these tires (except maybe that they're not nail-proof)!

These are the tires that came from the factory on my '06 VRSC-R Street Rod; the Harley you can ride around corners. Now don't get me wrong, the R is not a sport bike and the D207's are not racing tires. But the two complement each other well. The bike is heavy (650 pounds) but the tires are rated to handle that and more. They stick well at the lean angles and speeds that I'm willing to ride at and track true in a straight line. With 3000+ miles on the set, wear is barely noticeable.

When these wear out, I will check the forums to see how other brands are working for VRod riders. I may make another tire choice, but probably not.
