Comments about Dunlop D404 Motorcycle Tire:

I ride a 1983 Honda Magna with 45,000 miles most of which I put on. I have bought two sets of these tires. Got 12,000 miles on the first set. I am not sure if that is good or bad but I am happy with the performance. Dunlop doesn't have such a great rep, but that is because they put a cheap one on as OEM on the Harley's and I have heard people that only got 3,000 miles on them and I guess they don't handle great either. I got caught in two very hard rains and even with almost 12,000 on them they still handled well. I suspect that next year I will be putting on the 3rd set of these.

Comments about Dunlop D404 Motorcycle Tire:

When my older Goldwing needed new tires, I did a lot of internet research to find the best value. BikeBandit and Dunlop 404s came out on top. Even the tire shop guy said "nice tires".

    Great Tire

    By Mtrcylvr

    from Midwest

Comments about Dunlop D404 Motorcycle Tire:

This was my third D404 tire. I am very happy with the performance and life. BikeBandit had a great price and fast delivery. This tire is a little slick when brand new, but I follow the manufacturers recommendation to drive 100 miles very easy and have never had a problem. A break-in period is a good practice for any new tire anyway.

I will definately buy another when the time comes.

    Service and delivery comments:

BikeBandit has good prices and quick delivery. I also like earning BanditBucks with my purchases to spend on things I want, not necessarily need.

Thank you for your question. You may need to measure the clearences to determine fitment of the 140/90-16. My research material shows the Yamaha XS1100S is equipped with a 130/90-16 from the Yamaha Factory. This tire is available in a 130/90-16.
