Comments about Dunlop D606 Motorcycle Tire:

Very pleased used this tire on the Colorado 500 and plan to use it on the Trans America Trail. It has performed well in the pre ride test in the Moab, Green river Utah area, Can not speak to durability at this time but so far I am pleased.

Comments about Dunlop D606 Motorcycle Tire:

These tires were the perfect upgrade from the Bridgestone Trailwings that were on my DRZ400S when I bought it. I really "enjoyed" my first experience changing out a set of tires for the D606s, but the sturdy, rock hard rubber construction has proved their worth. The Trailwings held their own on the street, but were severely lacking in even the desert hard pack. These tires excel off-road, even in the sand, and the difference on-road was negligible.

Comments about Dunlop D606 Motorcycle Tire:

The D606 is a very nice, sturdy, dual-sport tire. The sidewall is more stiff than the Pirelli MT21. This is an asset on a heavier bike like a DR650 or KLR650 (not that the MT21 is lacking). The tread is as aggressive as the MT21's, yet seems to wear better. Changing a 17 inch rear tire with simple tire irons was less difficult than I expected given the stiffness of the sidewall. The nice tread pattern, rugged construction, and greater width make this an excellent rear tire for all dual sport bikes. After the original Trailwings and two sets of MT21's on my DR650SE, I prefer the Dunlop 606 on the rear. Its a toss up between the MT21 and the D606 for the front.
BikeBandit's price matching policy is honest and fast. Thanks BB.

That is only a 10mm difference and normally should not be a problem upgrading to that size. You will want to make sure you have the clearance for that extra 10mm thickness.

will this tire fit my 2000 DR200SE? Original sizes are 70/100-21 and 100/90-18. I was thinking of using the 90/90-21 and the 120/90-18 as replacements but was wondering if there would be enough clearance between the forks, etc.

              A:

Thansk for your question! We show this would fit the rim of your machine so that would not be a problem. You would need to measure around your machine for clearance to see what size tires you will be able to run.

            Do you ship to Alaska?

I would like to purchase Dunlop d606 tires but I live in Alaska. Are there any shipping options for Alaska? I am aware that fees may apply but would prefer not to have these tires shipped UPS as it is very expensive. Please let me know of any other options. Than you!
