Dunlop K81 motorcycle tire

I also mounted this tire on a 1973 Norton Commando 850. It's the only tire I've ever used on this bike. I think it's a rather soft compound as I feel it wears down quickly, but I prefer the good traction to a longer lasting tire. Feels great on the road, like I'm driving a new machine. I'm happy with it.
Perfect Vintage Tire

This tire is what was put on the older British bikes, and it looks just right on there. Sure you won't get the handling of a modern street tire, but this is what is supposed to be on the bike and one of the components the bike was designed with. This is the right tire for me.

I bought this tire for my 74 Norton. I ordered it one day and got it the next day. Unbelievable service. I cost me about $50 less than the shop in town charges. I will be buying them from here for now on. I go through about 5 tires a riding season which in Cali is about 8 months a year.
