Comments about Dunlop MX71 GeoMax Motorcycle Tire:

I took this tire to the motocross track as well as off road, and I could not tell a difference between the two. Granted it was my first time at the motocross track. I still did not notice and problem with the grip. I'm sure a mud tire would be better for the track, but this tire is all I had and it did well. When I took this tire trail riding I climbed rock hills with VERY LITTLE chunking.

Comments about Dunlop MX71 GeoMax Motorcycle Tire:

We run this tire on a spare wheel for some of our practices. Works well in hard pack. Wouldn't run it at any tracks we race at that have sandy loam.

          A:

Thank you for the question! The MX71 tire is not a DOT approved tire. You will want to stay with the D606.
