Looking for substantially better grip and handling? The Q2 has it! Dunlop’s Q2 incorporates race-tested advancements that add up to a vastly superior tire equally at home on the street or the track.

The front and rear tires have a new carcass construction that includes newly-designed continuous hex beads that are both lighter and stronger to enhance steering response in the front tire and increase cornering stability in both tires. Dunlop’s advanced Multi-Tread technology combines the benefits of a tough, long-wearing center compound for increased mileage with a special lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for superior cornering traction.

The rear tire incorporates Dunlop’s Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology, giving it a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles allowing higher corner speeds. It also features a newly developed, stiffer version of Dunlop’s Jointless Band (JLB) construction that utilizes a continuously wound aramid belt for reduced carcass distortion, plus stiffer overall construction to meet high-performance demands and provide a more consistent contact patch.

    Great tire

    By 08cbr1kk

Comments about Dunlop Qualifier Sportmax Q2 Motorcycle Tire:

This is definitely an upgrade from the original qualifier. Tire seems to be more round shaped hence leaning the bike over is effortless. They warm up quickly, faster than the pilot 2ct & corsa III I previously had on the bike. I did, however, feel more "grounded" with the Diablos. Very close in comparison, but a better bang for buck. Better than the pilot 2ct in my books.

Comments about Dunlop Qualifier Sportmax Q2 Motorcycle Tire:

I've ridden on many of the new street bike tires, BT-016's, M5's, Corsa IIIs, and Power Ones. The Q2's offer outstanding grip that equals or surpasses every other tire mentioned above, plus, they offer better longevity.

Comments about Dunlop Qualifier Sportmax Q2 Motorcycle Tire:

I purchased these tires after riding on a set of BT021's. I am giving feedback relating to use on a CBR1100XX lightened up and modded with few extra performance goodies.

These tires are some of the best I have ever used for inspiring confidence comparing to a set of Mich Pilot Power race on previous GSXR750. Turn in is awesome, wear decent, expect 4k-5k out of set. Heat up is excellent , traction excellent, Strong front grip under hard braking. hooks up well. Would buy again!!

              A:

Thanks for your question! This is a higher milage tire but unfortunately Dunlop and other manufacturers never give out milage on their tires. We hear many customer state they get from 5,000-upwards of 10,000 miles. This really depends on riding style, tire pressure maintinance, and how often you ride.

Thanks for your question! The 160/60 will be a little bit shorter than the 160/70. You may be able to use this as long as you have the clearance.
