EBC Organic Brake Pads. This EBC Kevlar® series is asbestos free. EBC uses the famous DuPont Kevlar® fiber in conjunction with other high tech fibers in these brake pads to make a pad with all-around value for your money. There are replacements for all levels of motorcycle, and they are extremely popular with riders who prefer the "feel" of organic pads. Most of these brake pads have expansion grooves which reduce noise and prevent cracking, and the aramid fiber compound with non-ferrous particles helps to prevent surface "scorching" under load. NAO pads have been fully TUV-tested and KBA-certified, and they conform to European ECE R90 brake regulations. Please Note: Product is sold in pairs. One pair required per rotor.

Good upgrade from stock, easy install
By Grand Master Mizen

Comments about EBC Organic Brake Pads:
I ordered these pads to replace the stock ones on my '06 SV650, which were worn to the minimum. Despite never having changed brake pads before I got these installed easily (with some help from the manual) and although they were not broken in they proved to be a noticeable upgrade on the first ride. The bite and the grab are mildly more; enough to notice but not enought to be considered aggressive. I commute, tour, sport-ride and track ride with this bike and the pads should be fine. After 300 miles they are bedded in, still performing above expectations and should last a long time!

Save your brake Rotors

I replaced my HH pads with the GG and am very happy with the results. The Rotors for my NINJA are over 300 hundred dollars .... I would rather replace pads every couple of years than rotors. I have upgraded brake lines and feel very little difference in stopping power.
good pads - but...

They seem to have more bite than the factory pads i removed, but i installed them 2 weeks ago, and we have had a lot of rain days, so i have not broken them in yet. one negative, the EBC pads do not come with the wear indicator groove like the factory pads i removed - i'm sure with my fair weather riding i will never replace them again, but if you use your bike a lot and want to keep an eye on the amount of pad left, you'll have to guess when to replace them based on how much 'meat' you see left.
Satisfactory Stoppers!

I got these for a 1982 Yamaha Virago. I bought the bike, and the front brakes felt like wood! I bled all the fluid, and still it felt like garbage, and stopped awfully. I ordered up these EBC's because of the low cost, and they really upped the stopping power of the single front disc. The package requests 250 miles of break-in riding, and it does help - for me, they felt good after about a hundred, but during that first hundred, they just kept getting grabbier - I am pretty pleased. As a side-note, for you first-time Virago mechanics - the pads are SUPPOSED to be "crooked" or "slanted"... don't replace if that is your only criteria! They come from the factory "slanted".
