Comments about EBC Sport Carbon X Brake Shoes:
Bought these for my daughters moped. Worked great and they stop the moped quickly now. Bike Bandit was the easiest to find the parts of all the sites I shopped at. The price was fair. The only issue I had is BB has no way of letting the customer know if they have the part in stock. These parts were not stocked and added an unexpected delay in receiving them. If i had known they were not in stock I most likely would of continued shopping to try to find a stocking dealer. That said no one may of stocked them as this is for a 1982 vehicle. I just wish I had known at purchase of the availability, it would of saved me an online chat session to find out " where are my parts"
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Bought 2 sets of these for my 1984 Honda XR100 (Front and Back). They were exactly like the old shoes which came off the bike. Came with 2 Tension springs exactly like the originals aswell. You should note they're meant for dry riding conditions. But when you're looking for parts for an old bike, the quality and price was right. I'll have to see how they fair wet or possibly muddy.Of course make sure you have your bike Make, Year, and Model selected so you get the right set.

Use on a '86 cr 500. Good on dry ground. But don't hook up good in the mud. Also I had to do some filing to get a fit on the drum. Just excess material from manufacturing. Not a big deal.
Quality is poor

The price is good but the manufacturing quality is poor and the contact surface of the shoe is smaller than factory, making braking less effective.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
