    After looking into the specialty tools that were required to install a standard, rivet-type master link, I was about ready to take my V-Strom to the dealer to have the chain replaced. However, when I found this master link -- and the matching chain -- I decided to try it myself.

    Installation was a piece of cake, and the included, clear, simple instructions made the job easy enough for even a n00b like me to get the job done.

    Bottom line, if you are handy enough to change your own brake pads and oil, you can change your chain, if you use this master link. It really is that simple.
