Comments about EVS Burly Elbow Guards:
the forearm area is good, but unless you have scrawny biceps, they'll be tight there. Had to trim some of the upper arm area, then they work good...
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

they stay in place as they should, they are not to tight and dont bother my forarmes like some others do they get a little hot but not so bad as to not use them even on pretty hot days. i have gone without before but just dont feel as confident riding without protection
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Best bang for the buck

These fell really nice, and seems like you won't need to adjust them at all when riding. Its still cold, but until then, only time will tell.
Larger than Expected, but Good Over a Hoodie
from San Diego, CA
I generally wear large EVS gear, but the Burlies were a bit large for me - somewhat loose. Maybe I need to hit the gym. ;-) In the end, though, they work well for me over a hoodie on colder days in the desert - something I didn't initially realize I needed. If you get the right size for you, the Burlies are extremely comfortable and stay in place well. They have good elbow protection with plenty of forearm coverage too.
