Comments about Fieldsheer Infinity Motorcycle Jacket:
Overall I like this jacket. When I'm wearing it I feel armor plated. The carbolex it is constructed of is very tough material, kind of stiff but maybe that wears off when broken in, and the sewing is of very high quality. This is my first Fieldsheer product and I must say this jacket is very well made. Extremely technical in construction. No wonder these jackets are expensive.I spent several minutes under the sun just taking it apart and examining all the details and trying to figure out its features. There is no user manual to instruct the owner. The pockets it has are numerous and the zipper connect feature baffles me, but I'm a bit of a noob with early-spring weather moto-gear.I bought the fieldsheer pants to go with this jacket so the two would mate properly and am very happy with how the integrated set works together.I'm 6'1" 195Lbs and about a 42" chest so I got the Large size, it fits just about right, but if I were to layer more I would have needed the XL next size up.The jacket does have a nice removable liner, but I'm not sure it would be warm enough in freezing temperatures, have not had it long enough to test. I havent had the opportunity to wear it in the wet, but it does block wind completely with the vents shut and the adjustable velcro waist works terrific and the pre-made curvature in the sleeves and elbows make it sit comfortably, unobtrusively on the body while riding. The jacket has removable internal shoulder and elbow armor along with the 1/2" foam padded back. I guess this stuff is a 'better than nothing' feature when you crash your bike. I'm fairly sure I will never need to test that, lol.I gave this 4 stars because I thought the collar could be a bit taller to help the apple stay warmer, and the collar lining could be a bit softer, and the length of the jacket could be just an inch or so longer but I have a long torso. If you are 6' or less tall this will not be a problem.

Great Jacket!

I have only used this jacket in cooler weather so far, but I love it! In 45 degree weather, I do not feel any cold air anywhere in the jacket. (I normally where a tee sheet and a sweathirt under it). I am about 6 foot tall, weigh about 255, so I got the XXXLarge, it still feels very roomy, even with a heavy sweatshirt on under it. I does look like its made very well. I have not used it in the rain yet, but it sure looks like it is water proof. It has several pockets with zippers. For warmer weather riding, it has a removal liner, and vents on the arms and a vent in the back. (I have not used it warm weather yet, so I don't know how well the vents work.) The sleeves seem a little long at first, but the butt into the gloves to keep out the cold air perfectly! I would certainly buy this jacket again!

Have nothing bad to say about this jacket whatsoever! Love the zip out liner that can be removed when the weather warms up. It is a thin liner yet keeps me warm in the 50 degree temps. I do layer it with a sweatshirt also though. Love the cut of the jacket and it is extremely comfortable to wear when riding. The safety pads in the jacket are not overly bulky either. Haven't had any rain while riding so can't say anything about the water proof claims. I am 6' and 245# and I ordered a 2XL but an XL would have been fine too. I just like the extra room for layering if I have to.
