Comments about Firstgear Rubber Overboots:
I wear them when I am going to work in the morning and want my feet to stay dry. They fold up into a 4 inch by 4 inch by 2 inch package. My steel toed boots were harder to get into them but I got the extra size larger and it was easier than some other rain boots.

Lightweight and easy to store. Quick on and off, saves leather boots from excessive water penetration. Good buy.

I haven't actually used them yet, so these are just initial observations, but no doubt they are waterproof, light and take up very little space in a tank or saddle bag. These "boots" appear to be made out of bicycle innertube rubber. There is some grainy material molded into the botom to give some grip when walking. I bought the large size, and with a little work they slid over my size 9 Sidi Vertebra racing boots. With a little more work, they stretched over my size 9 1/2 running shoes. The problem is that the the toe is very narrow. With a lot more work, including taking my GBX boots off and holding them in my lap, I was able to stretch (it seemed almost to the point of tearing) and pull them on. Maybe the the other commenters bought extra large and have size 7 feet, but for me, they did not have the ease of use factor; if you get cought in a downpour, your feet might be soaked before you could get these on.
Excellent prices, discount for AMA members, Bandit Bucks program.
