This versatile jacket has removable sleeves, tons of vents, and pockets to organize your map and GPS. And if that's not enough, you can pack the whole thing into itself and wear it around your waist with the built in belt. The zip-off sleeves pack away in the jacket's back pocket. 900D poly material is used on the main body and arms of the jacket, and the elbows are made of 1680D, abrasion-resistant material that protects this high wear area from tearing. There are cargo pockets perfectly located for easy access to your items, and a stretch collar with Neoprene throat and snap closure. The convenient, dual main zipper allows the jacket to open from the bottom for more comfort in the riding position. There is a large, rear zipper vent with rain flap cover, and dual front zip vents for massive air flow instantly. Zippers are water resistant when closed. Adjust the fit with the zippered expandable waist.

Great Design & Value

Comments about Fly Patrol Motorcycle Jacket 2009:
Bike Bandit .... 5+ stars for customer service. I called them with a sizing question, zero wait time until I talked to a live person who was extremely helpful and polite. Even with standard shipping my order arrived REALLY fast, was expecting to wait another two days ... cool!Jacket ... 4 stars only because I just purchased and don't know how it will hold up in use. Judging from materials/construction I expect it to be pretty durable.Swiss Army knife of jackets at a great price. Given the 1/2 dozen ways you can wear the jacket or pack it all into the built-in fanny pack with straps I don't how you could go wrong. It's NOT waterproof, nor claims to be, so keep that in mind. I would expect it to be water "resistant" like any other cordura type fabric, that can be enhanced by a coating of ScotchGuard or similar spray treatment for about $10.Sizing ... I'm 5' 10", 165lbs, moderately athletic build. I ordered a Large. With serious elbow guards and chest protector on the jacket was the right fit, not too tight when sitting, reaching, standing etc.Obviously designed by/for people who ride dirt bikes.

The fit is excellent, not too bulky, zip off sleeves and vents are a great feature. Looks good and is priced right.
Good for a long ride with changing wx

You're good for a long days riding with changing weather conditions. The jacket covers it all, good fit, removable sleeves as the day heats up, and if the day turn foul the jacket is warm and waterproof. For those times in between the multiple vents built into the jacket to keep you comfortable. The construction of the jacket show attention to detail, I would recommend this jacket to others and purchase another in the future.
Very good value for money.
