      -Nickel plating is an FMF trademark and has been copied by everyone making it the most imitated expansion chamber in the world. Great for tighter tracks.
      -Gnarly Desert and Forest Pipes are a heavy duty torque pipe for late model 200cc and up. Uses a heavy duty 18 gauge steel body to hold up to the rigors of off-road riding. (Some models)
      -Desert Pipe: Less torque, more top end.
      -Woods Pipe: More torque, less top end.
      -Super strong 18-gauge steel construction makes it GNARLY.

    I liked the fact that FMF makes great products for the older models. And that they make them as durable as the new models. Improved torque throughout the powerband and is an awesome header for your bike.

    Gnarly pipe is awesome! This pipe will help out with the bottom end power of your bike. Really great for lugging KTM 250MXC through the woods. Pipe held up nice through a pretty nasty get off. Thicker material really helped to keep the dents and dings out!

        Thanks for the question. We've researched this for you and do not see a woods or desert option available for your KTM 300XC. My guess is that they do not offer these options because KTM offers different thickness base gaskets and adjustable exhaust control to achieve the power delivery you desire.         Thank you for your question. The FMF Gnarly pipe may require carb tuning and jetting. There is a free jetting center at FMF.com that has all the configurations for the pipes and silencers on all the models.

        Thanks for your question! With FMF they will not release a specific power gain that you would get from their exhaust but if you jet your machine with this new exhaust you will definitely feel the power gain in your machine .
