It is more flexible than my Astars Bionic but a little thicker maybe. The biggest advantage is tailbone coverage as well as a broader shoulder coverage. I will recommend it to my friends who are interested. My last crash was with the Bionic and I landed on my tailbone HARD... So, hopefully this will help if it happens again.
