I just got to use these pants in a very, very heavy northern California rain this morning. My cell phone stayed dry in the pocket, and my jeans were dry except a small bit that was sticking out the bottom. I am very impressed at how great they work, especially because they are so cheap. the waist band can be tightened, and uses a clip that is easy to open and close with gloves on, so I would recommend getting a big size, so they can fit over whatever you wear underneath. I got an extra large, and i wear a size 38. I had plenty of room to get them on over my jeans. they can be put on and taken off easily because the cuffs open up.I highly recommend them.
