The Panorama boot uses Gaerne's exclusive dry tech breathable liner to keep your feet dry and comfortable on those long wet rides. Additionally, we have added internal protection in the shin and ankle areas to provide more support. On the rear heel cup we have inserted a reflective safety strip and for the sole we have used an anti-slip rubber lug sole.

First pair boots
from Fredericton, NB
Comments about Gaerne Panorama Boots:
This is my first pair of boots and still getting used to the amount of time it takes to put them on, although it's no more time than any other boot. They are extremely comfortable and even just riding around town, my feet don't get too hot and have never had any problems when it starts raining. The only problem I had with them is after some time, the extended tabs on the zippers broke on me, so it's extremely annoying to brush my fingers against the velcro.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Gaerne is a brand I've heard about before, but I've never really looked into them (mainly because they're not really available locally, or are not very common); but when BikeBandit was doing a Black Friday clearance on these for over 50% off, I ordered a set and crossed my fingers.Boy did I get lucky. These are probably the highest-quality, most comfortable riding boots I've ever slipped on my feet; and being well-armoured (for a touring boot), and Gore-Tex layering with waterproof construction (and I have tested this in hurricane-style rainstorms made these a no-brainer for me. I'd almost buy another set at retail because they're so good.

Amazing year-round boots!
from Galiano Island, BC
These are somewhat heavy. Because there's a lot of boot there, with 2 layers: one inside your pants and the other on the outside. And there's a lot of material and padding. They are very protective and give good support. But with so many layers of top-quality leather over your feet, why aren't they hot? Magic, I guess. Somehow they protect but don't cook your feet. The only downside is that they're fairly stiff, so you don't want to plan a hike in these. But mine might loosen up too (I've worn them less than 10 times so far).LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Seems to be very high quality. Very comfortable. Fit's me true to size. Have rode in 30 degree F weather for an hour and a half at 80mph with a wool sock underneath and toes are not warm but not really cold. I like very much so far.
