Braided stainless steel casing has clear covering to protect both the brake line and the bike. PTFE 62 Teflon liner creates “zero expansion effect”, translating into a stronger, more progressive brake action. Front kits are 2-line kits that travel from the master cylinder to the caliper. All kits include banjo bolts and washers (torque to 18-21 ft. lbs.), and installation instructions. Lines are individually labeled to avoid confusion. Comes with Galfer's limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

        Put a front line on my 2004 Ninja 250. The lever has a tighter feel and smoother application. Easy install - I just followed a how-to from ninja250.[@], even though the process is quite universal. In addition to the better feel, the new line is safer in emergency breaking. Money well spent.

          Does this front kit fit a 2001 TL1000S and the 2001 TL1000R?

          I ask because prior year models listed two separate galfer front line kits(29396 and 29386) for both the TL1000R and the TL1000S. I just want to make sure that the item listed for the 2001 TL1000s (29396) will actually fit my 2001 TL1000S. Thanks.
