Garmin Zumo 660

I mounted the garmin 660 on my Harley Ultra classic.I tried the clutch mount and found that the GPS unit interfered with the view of my rear view mirror. The universal mount worked perfectly and was easy to install.The unit worked well in sunlight but the voice was hard to hear over the engine while moving. The motorcycle mount is hard wired, where the vehicle mount has a detachable power cord.This made it hard to put through openings in my fairing. The motorcycle cord comes with three external connectors,A mike, earphone and usb port.I did not like then fact that they were about 2 feet from the mount, It left a lot of extra wire to deal with when connecting the power under the fairing. The cord is long enough to reach under the seat and the connectors are long enough come out in that area .In that case the wire is perfect.The keyboard has 3 diffent settings,ABCDE,Qwerty and large. The unit has 5 mode settings motorcycle,automobile,padestrian,scooter and off road.The unit will not operate if the battery is cover is removed and it has to be removed to assess the USB and SD card slot. So far I have only put 60 miles on the unit. it worked perfectly on the Harley .
