Comments about GMAX GM38 Full Face Helmet:
This is a solid helmet for the money. The shield closes up well and the cushioning is well put together with quality materials. Visibility is good on my clear shield. The helmet fits well except around the back of my ears, so I'm wondering if I should've got a size larger or if that's just how the helmet sits. The chinstrap, while sturdy, is easy to undo all the way when taking the helmet off...and when tightened, there isn't a clip to keep the excess from flapping. Tucking it in the cushion solves this, but it comes out easily. It whistles at decent speed, too. That alone is pretty frustrating. This is a great value DOT full face helmet, just don't have premium expectations.

Good fit, nice gloss finish, nice look. Shield is OK, but not the best quality. Top vent can twist a little when opening/closing, but hasn't been a problem. Also has a screen mesh on bottom of helmet below jaw that's not mentioned in product description - keeps bugs/debris out? Fairly noisy, but no worse than my other helmet. Side jaw vents are not adjustable (always open). Good helmet for the price.

I bought this helmet to wear during rainy days to keep raindrops from pelting my face. I have been wearing it rain or shine due to the comfort, and minimum wind noise. It is a good helmet for a good price.
