Comments about Goodridge Brake Speed Bleeder (8mm x 1.25):
I bought these because I heard that they made bleeding brakes by yourself a breeze; however, after a couple hours of frustration I could not get them to build up pressure. I reinstalled my old bleed nipples, and they worked just fine.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I've been bleeding brakes on my vehicles fo over 30 years and have dreaded this job until now. I always needed another person to help me. Air would get passed the threads on the bleeder valves so I was never really sure the job was 100%. So I postponed changing the brake fluid in my "93 CBR100f for 10 years. Well, this brake system took 6 speed bleeder valves, a short hose, a catch can and a pint of DOT4 fluid. Once all the bleeders were installed it took 15-20 minutes to do the job. The only snag was that it took me over an hour to figure out that I needed to move one rear brake line 2mm so I could line up the new bleeder valve to scew into the rear caliper. Now I have fresh brake fluid in the system and the brakes work great. No worries about air in the systemI will definately put these on my other bikes and cars.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
