Comments about Haynes Manual Kawasaki EN450 & 500 (Manual # 2053):
The book is hardcover so it will be durable. The product detail said it was for the EN450/EN500 but the actual book includes the EX250 Ninja, so the book is cluttered up with sportbike illustrations. I wanted to clean my chain because it was caked with grime and grit. The manual advised me to remove the covers and drive sprocket, disconnect the rear brake, drop the rear wheel, remove the left swingarm and soak the chain in kerosene. What a chore! Instead I used a scrunge brush and full-strength simple green and 20 minutes later my chain and sprockets were squeeky clean ready for new lube. Why do things the hard way?

Instructions are almost as difficult to understand as the owners manual. For instance, how in the heck does the regulator come off?!?

Was expecting to get a paperback manual, instead it was hardback.....nice.For a first time owner of a motorcycle helped me to locate certain parts and very easy to understand.

Clear, good pictures, well written. And I ain't no mechanic. Will do my spring tuneup bit by bit with this book. never would happen otherwise.
