This manual goes over everything you would need to do everything from basic maintenance to completely rebuilding one of these bikes.The only drawback to this manual is it is for a bunch of different models including '94 thru '04 9R and '96 thru '03 7R including British and US variances. The manual is organized well by what you are attempting to do to the bike but not by what bike you are working on. I have found that trying to figure out exactly what models the manual is talking about can be confusing and problematic form time to time.Just make sure you pay attention and this manual will serve you well I definitely would recommend this.

Got this manual in this morning and I'm pretty stoked about it. I've been reading it for a couple hours and i've done a couple minor maintenance checks on my new 2002 ZX-9R. This manual has a ton of useful information and is very well organized. It covers multiple different models of Ninjas but I think they did a very good job at differentiating which model they're referring to (and which exact model your motorcycle is). I also love the fact that it is a hardcover book. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone for basic maintenance to complete overhaul.

Haynes did it again with this manual, they completely tear down the motorcycle and then through step by step rebuild they document various maintenance processes. Whether you are an experienced or an amateur mechanic this manual shows you everything you need to do to get the job done! I am American but I live it Italy and it is hard for me to communicate with the mechanic what I need done; by ordering this manual I save time and money by doing the work myself!
