I was rebuilding a Suzuki GSX1100G that had sat for a long time. All of the fuel had crystalized into a caked powder. After cleaning and replacing everything, I looked for a good 5/16" filter. This filter was reccomended by several others on a forum.

My bike uses a low-pressure pump to deliver fuel, so I used two of these: one between the tank & pump and a second one between the pump & carbs. The clear feature makes it easy to see fuel flowing. I bought a few at the time- I'm also using one on a Honda V65 Sabre with no problems.

The size is excellent for tucking it out of the way under the side cover. One star deducted for not stating the micron (particle size) that it screens.

GREAT "little" fuel filters for my 1976 BMW R90S motorcycle! I say "little" because they are small enough to fit in "the" perfect spot between the petcocks and the cross over "T's" that then lead to the carbs on each side without throwing the gas line routing all out of wack. They may be "small", but, they have more than enough filter capacity and flow capability with what looks to be about 140 micron screens (as good as or better than the BMW factory screens on their petcocks). I also like the fact that they are transparent-So you can see the fuel and any dirt on the screens. They have good hose barbs on each end so they seal to the fuel hoses without clamps too. GREAT insurance against some of the gasoline we are getting today. I like everything about them and can not think of a single thing to dislike!!!
