    I still don't know why it is not a standard piece with the helmet but it's alright. The chin curtain takes a few minutes to fit in properly but it does cut down wind noise significantly in the helmet. It also reduces the air flow around the face keeping your eyes from drying out quickly.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Comments about HJC CL-16 Full Face Helmet Chin Curtain:

    I bought the HJC CL16 helmet because of the PinLock included feature and it's Snell 2010 approved. The PinLock System works GREAT but the helmet has quite a bit of wind noise. I bought the chin curtain to help quiet it down, which it does somewhat. I'd say a 50% reduction. Definitely worth it for the low price.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
