I got these boots a couple weeks ago, and I waited to write a review until I've had a chance to get to know them. It's taken some time to get the length for the straps set exactly the way I want them, but they fit comfortably from the first day. The speed-lace system is easy to use, and the straps give a good, snug fit and provide excellent support. I haven't had a chance to test them in the rain. So far, no issues with the boots being too warm. Overall, I like them, and think they're a great value for the money.

Just an update on the Icon Patrol Boots:Riding in the rain is no problem, my feet have been dry. Nice to have this feature after many miles of wet feet in the past.Carefully researched many brands and did not want to spend a ton of money on new boots. These boots were priced very well and I am very pleased with the overall features; the waterproof feature being a primary one because I ride rain or shine.Some may not like that they are warm or unvented in the hotter weather, but that does not bother me.A highly recommended product [...]

I use the Icon Patrol Waterproof boots for my daily commute on my motorcycle. I ride all year except for ice/snow. Have not fully evaluated the level of waterproofing but will soon. They are comfortable with a proper fit (My boot size is 11.5, I ordered 11.5). Buckles are quality, speed lacing system easy to use/convenient. Boots feel very supportive and firm; nice traction on road surface. Comfortable enough to wear all day and they are quiet (don't squeak like some other boots do). May get hotter (do not breathe as would a mesh-combined boot would) during the summer but small price to pay for the protective qualities of the boots.
